Cops Seek The Public's Help In Identifying A Spring Breaker In Distress

Students on Spring Break are flooding the beaches, but police in Bay County, Florida, are worried about a young woman whose photo surfaced on Twitter.

The possibly underage female, who police need help identifying, is nude in the photo and surrounded by young men.

Officials at Bay County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) said they just want to make sure she’s OK and that the photos were taken with her consent.

"We aren't trying to get her into trouble,” BCSO spokeswoman Ruth Corley told the Orlando Sentinel. "We want to make sure she isn't in trouble.”

The photos have been removed from Twitter, but in one of the images she’s apparently bent over dancing near the Gulf of Mexico. In another image, she’s trying to cover herself as she’s swarmed by a group of men, while an arm reaches into the frame, grabbing the beads around her neck.

Officials said they don’t know when the photos were taken. They’re asking the public to help them identify her.

"We want to make sure she is OK, check her well-being and make sure the pictures were consensual," Corley said.
