Controversial Political Billboard Stirs Up Controversy (Photo)

Cleveland residents are less than happy with a new anti-Obama message and its accompanying graphic: a giant set of testicles.

The sign, which stands in a highly trafficked area next to a church, calls for the impeachment of President Barack Obama. On the opposite side of the sign, the words “DOES ANYONE IN CONGRESS HAVE A SET OF THESE” is printed over a graphic of testicles, labeled as “The Big Kahunas.” Below the graphic, the words “TESTICLE FORTITUDE” are printed.

“Sometimes you’ve got to put things out there in order to make a point and get people to turn their heads,” Nancy Sysack, the sign’s owner and operator of Harry X. Sysack Sign Co., said.

Sysack argued that her sign isn’t as graphic as some images that can be found in the art museum. In response to those who want to see the sign removed, Sysack noted that it’s nice to have the 1st Amendment to speak her mind.

Though locals have expressed shock at the sign, Sysack’s company is no stranger to controversy. A previous graphic mounted on the billboard exhibited Martin Luther King Jr. hugging Osama bin Laden during the civil rights leader’s birthday. However, that previous image was set ablaze.

Residents have complained that the sign is “totally inappropriate” and “disgusting," especially since it’s so close to a public library and school.
