It sounds like a scene from TLC's 'Toddlers & Tiaras.'

Kids, as young as seven, will be allowed to compete in pole dancing championships to be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, reports RT.com.

This is the first time that children have been allowed to compete in the Miss & Mister Pole Dance event.

Over a 1000 dancers will part in the competition, which is scheduled to be held on September 7-9.  The kids will compete in two age groups 7-9 and 10-13.
