Employees at a Texas Chick-fil-A created new employee uniforms to state their appreciation for the police force.

Following recent violence against police officers in several cities around the country, a Chick-fil-A franchise in The Woodlands, Texas, took a stance in support of law enforcement. Shirts were made for all the employees of the fast food chain that have a simple message on the back: "Back The Blue."

The restaurant's manager, Eli Advincula, told The Blaze that he and his employees wanted to "show our support for police" because "they are out on our streets every day." He added that they wanted to show support for the police community because of the recent violence against law enforcement.

The shirts received a very positive reaction from customers, including local law enforcement.

"Thank you for supporting law enforcement!" one customer wrote. "I love the shirts. Chick-fil-A is one of the only places I feel comfortable eating at when I'm on duty. Awesome company with awesome values!"

"Thank you so much for showing support for all of our LEO's!" another customer wrote on the restaurant's Facebook page. "It is awesome to see a business that embraces the good of our LEO's #LESMA"
