Caitlyn Jenner is planning to pose nude in a photo shoot with Sports Illustrated magazine to commemorate the 40th anniversary of her gold medal win at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The 66-year-old reality TV star will reportedly appear on the cover of the magazine totally naked, except for her gold medal and an American flag, reports Breitbart.

After winning the gold medal in the men's decathlon in 1976, Jenner was dubbed "the world's greatest athlete" and named the 1976 Associated Press Male Athlete of the Year. She appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated as Bruce that same year.

She was married three times and had six children before making her transition. Her 24-year marriage to Kris Jenner led to her regular appearance, as Bruce, on the reality television program "Keeping up With the Kardashians."

Jenner wrote last year that her Olympic medal is her "most prized possession," according to the Huffington Post. She never flaunted it, however.

"I never wanted my kids to feel like they had to have a gold medal in order to be considered a success," she wrote, adding, "I didn't want them to constantly compare their own achievements to my time in the Olympics, so I haven't displayed my medal."

As proud as she is of her gold medal, Jenner told Vanity Fair last year that her status as a high-profile transgender advocate is more important:

That was a sporting event; the last few days is about living your life. About being true to yourself.

I was probably at the games because I was running away from a lot of things. OK, [I’m] very, very proud of the accomplishment, I don’t want to diminish that accomplishment, but the last few days, in doing this shoot, was about my life and who I am as a person….

This is about your life and about who you are. And the last few days have been absolutely amazing, you know, I never thought, you know, that someday I’d be able to do this.

It's been almost a year since Jenner's groundbreaking Vanity Fair magazine cover, when she first introduced herself to the world as Caitlyn.
