Brad Pitt ended a trip early to spend time with his children during Thanksgiving weekend, but Angelina Jolie reportedly was not having it.
It was the first Thanksgiving the former couple spent apart, Ace Show Biz reports. Pitt had traveled to Turks and Caicos to spend time with a male friend before jetting back to his kids, yet was met with an unwelcome surprise.
"Brad came back from Turks and Caicos on Saturday because Angie's team had assured him that he would see the kids,” an anonymous source said, InTouch Weekly reports.
“He got back late Saturday afternoon and called to arrange the drop-off," the source added. "He was told there would be no visit because Angie had changed her mind. Brad was very angry and disappointed. [He] wanted to have a belated gathering at his house on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend."

However, when asked for comment, the duo's representatives have yet to confirm anything officially.
Pitt and Jolie have been embroiled in custody disputes over their children: Maddox, 15; Pax, 12; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
Jolie won sole custody of the children in a temporary joint agreement reached between the couple in early November 2016, Yahoo reports.
For the time being, Pitt is allowed "therapeutic visits" with the children.

"We believe that all sides are committed to healing the family and ask for your consideration during this difficult time," a November 2016 statement said.
However, in the long-run, Pitt wants and is fighting for joint custody -- something Jolie is rumored to be against.
“Angie is still fighting Brad for sole custody,” the source explained. “And it’s going to get even more brutal.”
