Black Lives Matter Leader: White People Are 'Sub-Human'

| by Lauren Briggs

One of the leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement has found herself in hot water after writing that white people's physical characteristics are the result of "recessive genetic defects" that can be "wiped out" by people of color.

"Whiteness is not humxness, in fact, white skin is sub-humxn," Black Lives Matter Toronto co-founder Yusra Khogali wrote in a Facebook post, according to The Toronto Sun. "All phenotypes exist within the black family and white ppl are a genetic defect of blackness."

Khogali explains in the post that white people are "genetically deficient" because they have "a higher concentration of enzyme inhibitors that suppress melanin production."

"Melanin enables black skin to capture light and hold it in its memory mode which reveals that blackness converts light into knowledge," she adds. "Melanin directly communicates with cosmic energy."

Khogali goes on to write that she believes this is one of the main reasons why "white supremacy as an imperial system thrives," since blackness is "a threat to the genetic [annihilation] of white ppl."

"White ppl are recessive genetic defects," she adds to support her conclusion. "this is factual. white ppl need white supremacy as a mechanism to protect their survival as a people because all they can do is produce themselves. black ppl simply through their dominant genes can literally wipe out the white race if we had the power to."

Khogali's words have stoked a slew of different reactions from Facebook users.

This young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. A few moments later, he made her wildest dreams come true:

"You can get white from black, but you cannot get black from white," one person commented. "The black man is the Original man. The white man is the grafted caveman."

Another person questioned what it means to say that melanin "directly communicated with cosmic energy."

"As just as our anger is with white supremacy, is this necessary?" another person commented. " … If non-Melaninated people are inferior, so are African Albinos inferior? This stuff is just messy, and wrong on so many levels."

Black Lives Matter Toronto has not yet commented on the controversy. According to their website, the organization seeks "to forge critical connections and to work in solidarity with black communities, black-centric networks, solidarity movements, and allies in order to to dismantle all forms of state-sanctioned oppression, violence, and brutality committed against African, Caribbean, and Black cis, queer, trans, and disabled populations in Toronto."
