An Australian children's play center has been shut down after local parents became outraged when they discovered an advertisement for a swingers party that featured pictures of sex acts and nude photographs of the center’s owners. According to the ad, the owners of Casey Kids Playhouse in Cranbourne wanted to repeat the event every month once they found six other couples.

The ads were posted on several websites including Craigslist. According to the ad, the ''party venue [not a home] has many features like a laser light show, fog machine, great sound system, games, a giant ball pit and a jumping castle and an awesome time will be had by all.” The owners were ''very new'' to the swinging scene.

Tracey, a local mother, has been to several children's parties at the center and was planning on having her son’s fourth birthday party there as well on Sunday, the day after the swingers party was scheduled to take place. She had already put down a $50 deposit when she found out about the ad, The Age reported.

''I am disgusted, and all of my guests are disgusted, in the pictures,'' she said. ''I heard the rumor last week but didn't do anything with it until I had proof. This is so morally wrong, not to mention unhygienic.''

Tracey emailed the center to cancel her party and was sent the following response:

''We assure you that even though the photos are of us there is/was no intention to host any type of party of this description. Thank you for your understanding and support. This means a great deal to us.''

Children and Young People principal commissioner Bernie Geary summed up the situation.

"This is just off,” he said. “There's no appropriate words are there really?"
