An Arkansas teen was hospitalized after a 5-point buck collided with her vehicle and its antler speared her in the jaw.
The accident happened on a busy Jonesboro street in the middle of the afternoon Wednesday.
Tori Winn, 17, underwent a five-hour long surgery after the buck crashed through her driver side window.
Even after the shocking incident, the Paragould High senior kept calm and was still thinking about others.
“She kept her composure after the deer hit her and drove and parked her car so no one else would get hurt,” her mother Nikki Winn told KAIT 8.
Doctors told the family that she should be able to return home some time this week.
“But please keep praying for Tori. Pray for her spirits to be lifted because her body is going to heal, but it's this I worry about," her mother said.
