Woman Accused of Sex With Dogs, Poisoning Roommates (Video)

| by Michael Allen

Shari Walters is accused of trying to poison her two roommates after they found out that she was allegedly having sex with two German shepherds in Albuquerque, N.M.

KOAT reports (video below) that Walters was arrested and charged with "aggravated battery, cruelty or extreme cruelty to animals, and assault with intent to commit a violent felony."

Walters' female roommate claimed that she discovered Walters lying naked inside a shed and having sex with her dog, "Spike," in late July.

Walters supposedly admitted to her female roommate that she was having sex with both of her roommates' dogs.

The second roommate, a man who was dating Walters, broke up with her “because she was having sex with dogs,” stated the police report, noted ABQJournal.com.

The male roommate claims that Walters, 53, told him that she'd been having intercourse with canines since she was a teen.

The next night, the female and male roommate thought their food tasted strange and noticed their drinking water was cloudy. Walters allegedly asked them, "Aren’t you going to eat?”

The female roommate told police that Walters admitted to putting rubbing alcohol in the water and toilet bowl cleaner in the food.

Walters was taken to a local hospital for a psychological evaluation, and was later transported to  the Metropolitan Detention Center where she is being held on $20,000 bail.

A vet examined both dogs and discovered symptoms that may indicate sexual abuse on one of the pooches. The roommates were treated at a local hospital.
