What This Detroit Robber Did To An Innocent Puppy Is Horrifying

| by Sarah Fruchtnicht

Detroit police are looking for a robber who shot a man with a shotgun, stole his 9-week-old puppy and slammed the animal into the cement, killing it.

Sean Harris says he was leaving Onasis Coney Island with his shih tzu puppy Raja early Monday morning, when a man put a gun to his face.

"They ran up on me, put the shotgun in my face. He told me to give him everything. I complied, but he told me he was going to shoot me regardless," Harris told ClickOnDetroit.

He gave the robber money but refused to give him the keys to his car. That’s when the robber shot him.

"I was running with a hole in my leg. I could see my bone," Harris said.

The robber took his puppy and as he ran away he lifted the dog high above his head and slammed him into the ground.

The Michigan Humane Society is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man who killed a puppy during a robbery in Detroit.

Police are looking for a 2005 or 2006 gold Chevrolet Impala driven by the suspect.

Harris is expected to recover but he will need a skin graft.
