Video: Rep. Steve King Defends Dog Fighting

article image

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) recently defended the rights of Americans who want to see dogs pitted against one another in fights (video below).

During a tele-townhall event last week, Rep. King complained about an amendment to the farm bill that would criminalize attending organized animal fights and would impose additional penalties on people who bring children to the events.

Rep. King said: “When the legislation that passed in the farm bill that says that it’s a federal crime to watch animals fight or to induce someone else to watch an animal fight, but it’s not a federal crime to induce somebody to watch people fighting, there’s something wrong with the priorities of people that think like that."

What a pity it isn't possible

What a pity it isn't possible for the psychopath King to ever understand choice. Mentally damaged subhumans like king that wish to beat on each other and watch other equally mentally incompetent cretins beat on each other is fine, its called choice.

Animals don't have a choice, some psychopath asswipe yanks them out of a cage and throws them in the ring to fight for their life, isn't a choice.

King should be fed to the dogs.

Those that can't or won't defend themselves can only be slaves.

Time to throw Rep. Steve King

Time to throw Rep. Steve King to the wolves, or piranha. I have never heard anything so asinine in my life. I can't believe any person with common sense would support this schmuck of a politician. Cruelty to animals in dog fights is taboo in this nation and it should be punished harshly. If Rep. King wants to watch dog fights etc., let him move to the Philippines or somewhere outside the USA.

It's nice to see that King

It's nice to see that King has a cause to champion. I guess ARP and SPCA were too mundane for his tastes.

I would have thought KKK

I would have thought KKK leadership to be right up his alley.

Those that can't or won't defend themselves can only be slaves.
