A man in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is probably regretting his violent attack on a woman walking her small terrier on Wednesday evening. The terrier may not have been able to fight back, but the woman has a Black Belt in karate. The attacker was last seen running toward Ocean Boulevard, according to the police report.

The victim was walking with her small dog in the 400 block of 28th Avenue North on Wednesday when the attacker grabbed her. Afraid for the safety of her canine companion, she dropped the leash. She then made sure the attacker would not hurt either of them.

"He put me in a choke hold,” she said. “The only thing I could think of was to elbow him in the stomach, turn around and punch him in the mouth," she told police.

Realizing he had messed with the wrong woman, the attacker took off running.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, held her little dog in her bandaged arm and said her neck is sore and her knuckles are busted, but otherwise she and her dog are OK. The suspect is still on the loose. According to the police, he is a white male about 5' 6", 170 pounds with no facial hair. He has a busted lip.
