A 2-week-old kitten was saved by firefighters with the Jaws of Life after being stuck between two bricks for around two days (video below).
A resident of Johnston, Rhode Island, heard the cries of a kitten coming from a wall on Sept. 9. Upon closer inspection, they noticed the small white cat stuck between two large bricks.
Animal control officer Erin Medeiros got a call from a concerned homeowner just before she left work for the day.
Popular VideoThis young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. A few moments later, he made her wildest dreams come true.
"He fell where the back of the bricks were, you could tell it was a bigger of a gap," she said. "He probably fell down there, and being scared, he kind of tried to scurry his way out and ended up getting stuck."
Medeiros said that she had never seen an animal that needed to be rescued using the Jaws of Life.
She confirmed later on the Johnston Animal Control Facebook page that the kitten had since been adopted.
