Police arrested a Florida man on Tuesday after neighbors say they saw him having sex with a dog in his yard.
Tampa Police were called down by a group of horrified residents who told cops that they begged and pleaded Bernard Marsonek, 57, to stop the alleged sexual activity with a pit bull, but he ignored them, WWSB ABC 7 reported.
During a search of his home, police found a gun and ammunition and Hillsborough County Animal Services investigators took custody of eight large pit bulls from the property.
Marsnoek was charged with aggravated animal cruelty, sexual activity involving animals and two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
He was released Wednesday on a $17,500 bond while an investigation of the allegations continues, MyFoxTampaBay.com reported.
According to NBC 6 South Florida, jail records show Marsonek was arrested before, most recently for driving with a suspended license in 2005.
