First Responders Rescue Dog From Hot Car In Boston (Video)

First responders in Boston rushed to help a dog that was found locked inside a hot car for over an hour and a half. 

According to reports, Boston police received numerous calls on Aug. 26 about a dog in a parked car outside of a store, locked inside in the sweltering heat. When authorities arrived, a crowd of concerned people were gathered around the vehicle.

Firefighters opened the car and rescued the dog, which police estimated had been inside for at least 90 minutes.

A phone number for the owner, as well as the dog’s name, were found on its collar. The owner arrived a short time later, and was lectured by officers about the dangers of leaving a dog inside a hot vehicle. She was then allowed to leave.
