Firefighters Save Six Kittens From Blaze

| by Amanda Andrade-Rhoades

A camper shell in a vacant Corona, California, lot was engulfed in flames on the morning on Nov. 4.

Though a bystander was burned and taken to a hospital for treatment, firefighters managed to save six kittens from the blaze, CBS Los Angeles reported.

It’s unclear where the kittens’ mother was, but they were uninjured and turned over to Corona Animal Control.

The flames threatened nearby homes as well as a utility pole, but no significant damages were reported, according to The Press Enterprise.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
