Dog Found Crying After Owner Abandoned Him At Train Station

| by Kathryn Schroeder

The owner of an adorable black Staffie-like dog abandoned him at an East Sussex, England, train station. The dog cried for an hour waiting for his owner to return.

He never did.

The dog owner tied the dog to railings and then got in a taxi, reports Metro. A tray was left by the dog with water.

An hour passed and the owner had still not returned for the dog. His whining and crying was heard by a passerby and he reported the dog to Eastbourne Railway Station staff.

This judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

The dog was taken by animal control authorities to a kennel and they are trying to trace his owner, reports Express.

"We were called on Wednesday afternoon with a report of a dog tied up and left for more [than] an hour at Eastbourne Station,” a spokesperson for Eastbourne Borough Council said. “We collected the dog which is now safe and well in kennels. We are trying to trace the pet's owner who we urge to contact us."

If the owner cannot be located, they will try to place the dog in a new home.
