Charlotte Wonjah, a Florida woman, was arrested for allegedly beating her son and killing the family puppy in front of her children. After the arrest Wonjah admitted to police that she has anger issues.
On Thursday, Miami Judge George Sarduy set the 26-year-old’s bail at $5,000 for the animal cruelty charge. She has another court appearance on Friday for the charge of aggravated child abuse.
Police found welts and bruises on her 8-year-old son during a domestic violence call. Wonjah admitted that she became enraged and attacked her son. The boy had several wounds on his body. Some were still raw while other were starting to heal, suggesting that the abuse was ongoing.
Wonjah also admitted to killing their 1-month-old puppy because she was sick of taking care of it. She slammed it on the floor repeatedly while her children watched.
