Stephanie Mikles, a behavioral specialist for Harford County Public Schools in Maryland, has been indicted for an “unnatural or perverted sexual practice" (video below).

According to court records and photographs, the indictment claims Mikles had “sexual intercourse with a dog," reports the Baltimore News Journal.

The alleged dog intercourse occurred back in August 2008, according to police, but there is no statute of limitations for this kind of crime.

The dog still lives with the Mikles family in Jarrettsville, Maryland, according to ABC 2 News.

Mikles has been placed on administrative leave without pay by the Harford County Schools System.

A separate investigation by a local child advocacy center uncovered this bizarre discovery.

Mikles is fighting the charge and is currently free on $5,000 bond.

If Mikles is convicted, she could spend up to 10 years in prison and be fined $1,000.
