A young fawn named "Dinner" recently walked up to a group of hunters during their target practice and licked one of their guns.
YouTube user Thomas McCullagh filmed the baby deer (video below) whose mother was killed by a car. The fawn was cared for by a rehabilitation specialist, who returned it to the wild where it was adopted by some wild deer.
OneGreenPlanet.org notes the baby deer's behavior is probably based on its prior interaction with humans.
But what is amazing is the deer approaches the hunters while they are firing their guns and doesn't flinch.
However, this fondness for humans could make Dinner a prime candidate for dinner in the future, notes Salon.com.
