Police are investigating a vandalism attack on a Los Angeles clothing store owned by Kim Kardashian and her sisters.
Lieutenant Edward Ramirez said a witness saw someone hurl a flaming object through the front window of the Dash boutique on the night of June 6, according to the Daily Mail. The boutique is located on Melrose Boulevard in West Hollywood.
The object, which investigators said was heavy and wrapped in a cloth, failed to start a fire inside the store. Apart from the window no property was damaged. The attacker left a bottle of lighter fluid and a dumbbell outside on the sidewalk, according to the Daily Mail.
Early reports indicated that a suspect was in custody, but Los Angeles County police have since stated that no arrests have been made, according to KABC. They are unsure whether the store was specifically targeted or chosen at random. The attack is being investigated as attempted arson.
The Dash boutique opened 10 years ago and has additional locations in New York City, Miami Beach and Southampton, New York. Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, stars of the long-running "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" reality TV show, are co-owners.
