Would-Be Robber Knocked Out While Trying To Steal A Car (Video)

When Gerry Brady, of Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland, found an injured man lying near his Mercedes Benz E-class Coupe, he assumed the man had been knocked down.

The man woke up and told Brady and his partner that he’d been attacked, but insisted they not call an ambulance.

“My partner then noticed the damage to her car,” Brady told Breaking News. "I had a look at the Merc and could see dents on it."

The would-be robber tried to break a car window to steal the vehicle, but the rock he used bounced off the car and hit him in the head. The entire incident was caught on camera, and Brady called the footage “quite hilarious.”

"We got the cops, and they took him away after we showed them the [video]," Brady said.

Brady, who owns Pheasant Pub, decided to post the footage on YouTube. The would-be robber has not been identified.
