An unidentified woman was hit in the head by a foul ball during a game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs on April 20.

Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro fouled the ball which flew into the stands behind home plate, smacking the woman in the back of the head as she walked to her seat (video below).

The Associated Press reports she gave a thumbs-up before being taken out of PNC Park on a stretcher and transported to a nearby hospital.

According to WPXI, the Pittsburgh Pirates released a statement today:

"The female fan who was struck by a foul ball during last night’s game was sent via ambulance to the hospital for the appropriate examinations. Thankfully, the fan was released from the hospital following those examinations."

Elsewhere, an unidentified girl recently attempted a back flip over a counter in a McDonald's in Sweden.

The bizarre incident was caught on a cellphone video (below) as the girl's friends laughed and customers gasped.

According to Reddit user CaliSwagMisfit, who posted the video on the social media site, "Lol.. Funniest part is that they ran out afterward and she left her iPhone behind..."
