A British woman was arrested after reportedly banning Muslims from her beauty salon.

The unidentified 43-year-old posted to the Blinks of Bicester Facebook page following the terrorist attacks in Paris, The Telegraph reports.

“Blinks of Bicester are no longer taking bookings from anyone from the Islamic faith whether you are UK granted with passport or not,” one post read. “Sorry but time to put my country first.”

After some initial backlash, the woman posted another status sticking by her policy: “I have been inundated with messages tonight as I said I would not book any [Muslim] or Islamic client. I stand by that completely as a UK citizen. However those that want to call me racialist. Think on.”

The woman made her address public, challenging people to confront her face-to-face.

“Now let’s see how many back track!!!” she wrote.

Another follow-up post read, “I hope your families get blown up by ISIS.”

Many social media users criticized the woman for her remarks.

“Can put fake lashes on ignorance but you can't educate it. You've a LOT to learn...racist and ignorant,” one user wrote.

“Thank God you have been arrested! Foul woman you deserve all you get,” another said.

“We have arrested a 43-year-old woman in Bicester today after a number of complaints about a racially abusive post on social media,” a Thames Valley Police spokeswoman said.

“The woman was arrested under section 19 of the Public Order Act which relates to the display of written material which is threatening, abusive or insulting with the intention of stirring up racial hatred, and for producing malicious communications. We take all such complaints seriously and will investigate.”
