Watch: ISIS Skit On SNL Sparks Debate (Video)

Saturday Night Live is no stranger to controversy, so it should come as no surprise to anyone that a skit they aired this weekend has left people divided on how appropriate it was.

The fake commercial, starring Dakota Johnson, featured a girl saying goodbye to her dad before going on a long trip. It was a play on a similar commercial that aired during the 2015 Super Bowl, only in that one, the child was heading off to join the armed services.

However, in the parody of the commercial, Johnson’s character said goodbye to her dad before joining a different group.
