Twitter users are weighing in on a T-shirt that is currently for sale in the gift store at Trump Tower in Manhattan.
A picture of the T-shirt was first posted to Twitter by Politico's chief Washington correspondent Edward-Isaac Dovere.
"For sale in the Trump Tower gift shop," he wrote.
On the front of the T-shirt are the words: "Shut the fake up media."

The slogan is presumably a reference to President Donald Trump's repeated characterization of the news media as "fake" and "dishonest," as well as a pun on the popular expression, "Shut the f*** up."
Twitter was not impressed, with many users mocking the attempt at wordplay.
"Somebody faked up," one user commented.

"These people have a very loose grasp on grammar," wrote another.
"Alternative grammar?" someone else asked.
In response to people who pointed out that the T-shirt's slogan is a play on words, one user wrote: "Yes we know what it's supposed to mean but it's still stupid and badly designed."
Trump has had a contentious relationship with the press since he announced he was running for president in 2015. The situation has escalated since he took office.
During a lengthy press conference in mid-February, Trump repeatedly tore into the media for what he said was their "dishonest" coverage of his first month in the Oval Office.
"The press has become so dishonest that if we don't talk about, we are doing a tremendous disservice to the American people. Tremendous disservice," he said, according to CNN. "We have to talk to find out what's going on, because the press honestly is out of control. The level of dishonesty is out of control."
Trump dismissed reports of Russian interference in the election as "fake news."
"I've never seen more dishonest media than, frankly, the political media," he said.
"The tone is such hatred," the president added. "I'm really not a bad person, by the way. No, but the tone is such -- I do get good ratings, you have to admit that. The tone is such hatred."
He also denied reports that his administration is plagued by a lack of unity and cooperation.
"I turn on the TV, open the newspapers and I see stories of chaos. Chaos," he said. "Yet it is the exact opposite. This administration is running like a fine-tuned machine, despite the fact that I can't get my cabinet approved."
Echoing the rhetoric he used on the campaign trail, Trump alleged that the media exist primarily to serve corporate and other elite interests.
"Unfortunately, much of the media in Washington, D.C., along with New York, Los Angeles in particular, speaks not for the people, but for the special interests and for those profiting off a very, very obviously broken system," he said.
