A teacher at East Bank Middle School in Kanawha County, West Virginia, was caught on video yelling at a student April 12.  The student had reported the teacher for allegedly watching something inappropriate -- possibly porn -- on a computer at the school.

A second unidentified student secretly filmed the incident and emailed it to WOWK.

In the video (blurred to protect the students' faces), the teacher, identified by the news station as Thomas Yohn, walks into a classroom and yells at 13-year-old Jeffrey Province:

Next time you open your big, stinking mouth, pal, I will write you up and send you to the office for coming into my room without permission. Is that clear? What I watch as an adult is my choice.

You as a child wait in the hall until you’re invited into my room, is that clear? How many times have I made this clear to you now? Keep going. The fifth time you get written up. I'm not putting up with this and he tried to blackmail me.

He said, "Oh Mr. Yohn," he said, "I'm going to get an A this quarter, or I am going to tell that you are watching inappropriate things on TV and I saw it." So go ahead, tell, isn’t that what I told you to do?

Now I’m telling you, you keep your big flap shut. Because I’m a grownup and can watch whatever I want, and if you ever set foot into my room without permission, it’ll be the last time you step in my room, is that clear?

"I saw something on the computer that a 13-year-old should not see at a school," Province, a sixth grader, told WOWK.

Province recalled going to the principal and telling him what he saw.

On the same day, Yohn, a math teacher, came into Province's English class and shouted at him, without any apparent intervention from the English teacher.

Carmelene Short, Province's mom, said the school and the board of education never contacted her; instead, she learned about the incident on Facebook via the boy's grandfather.

According to Short, school officials have since told her that Yohn was suspended pending an investigation by the school.

"I was afraid that he would do something to hurt me because I told on him because I might make him lose his job," Province told the news station. "So that's pretty much the reason why I'm scared."

The boy added that he did not attempt to blackmail Yohn.

The East Bank Middle School, Kanawha County Board of Education and the West Virginia State Board of Education would not speak about the situation, except to say that it was being investigated.
