"It's a Christmas Miracle!!! Thank you @taylorswift13," Robert Frye, Porter's grandson, wrote as a caption to a photo he shared on Twitter. "My grandpa was so excited!!"

Porter said he's known for two things in his community.

"I guess Taylor [Swift] and [being] a WWII veteran," Porter told WBTV. "I know they don't go together."

The veteran said he had previously traveled to Memphis and St. Louis just to watch Swift in concert.

"Look what she does, she puts on a show no one else puts on," Porter said. "I just liked the way the way she did stuff."

Porter went to the concerts with one of his daughters and two of his grandchildren.

"He was excited," Lynette Fowler, Porter's daughter, told the news station. "He was like dancing to the beat, what he thought was the beat of the music, and having a great time with it."

"Yeah, I just enjoy it, I’m getting old," Porter added. "I’m just enjoying everything."

Porter, who has more than 50 children and grandchildren, was diagnosed with cancer this year. Still, the veteran said he plans on seeing Swift again during her next tour.
