Rush Limbaugh Complains About Sexual 'Consent' (Video)

| by Michael Allen

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh complained on his Oct. 12 radio show that those on the "left" are only bothered by sexual activity when it does not involve "consent" from all parties involved (video below).

Limbaugh was commenting on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's comments about touching women in a sexual manner without their consent in a 2005 video, notes Media Matters:

You know what the magic word, the only thing that matters in American sexual mores today is? One thing. You can do anything, the left will promote and understand and tolerate anything, as long as there is one element.

Do you know what it is? Consent. If there is consent on both or all three or all four, however many are involved in the sex act, it's perfectly fine.

Whatever it is. But if the left ever senses and smells that there's no consent in part of the equation then here come the rape police. But consent is the magic key to the left.

The U.S. Department of Justice website states: "Sexual assault is any type of sexual contact or behavior that occurs without the explicit consent of the recipient. Falling under the definition of sexual assault are sexual activities as forced sexual intercourse, forcible sodomy, child molestation, incest, fondling, and attempted rape."

The U.S. Office on Women's Health website says:

Sexual assault is any type of forced or coerced sexual contact or behavior that happens without consent. Sexual assault includes rape and attempted rape, child molestation, and sexual harassment or threats.

In the United States, nearly one in five women has been raped and almost half of women have experienced another type of sexual assault.1 If you have been sexually assaulted, it is not your fault.

Sexual assault is any type of sexual activity, including rape, that you do not agree to. Also called sexual violence or abuse, sexual assault is never your fault.
