During a basketball game between the Houston Rockets and New Orleans Pelicans on March 2, two women dressed in costumes tried to distract the Pelicans' Norris Cole at the free-throw line (video below).

The women were dressed like the "Cat in the Hat" character from the children's book by Dr. Seuss, The Comeback notes.

The scantily clad gals pretended to fight during the free throw, according to the Bleacher Report.

The game's announcers didn't seem very impressed:

Oh, my goodness.

Would that distract you?

The women later changed into trench coats and proceeded to flash the Pelicans' Ryan Anderson when he was at the free-throw line.

The Rockets ultimately beat the Pelicans 100-95.
