Report: Tom Cruise Angry At Katie Holmes For Apologizing To Leah Remini

| by Michael Allen

Leah Remini spilled the beans about her decades as a Scientologist in a new book, Radar Online reports.

Remini explained how she attended Tom Cruise's 2006 wedding to Katie Holmes, but got into trouble when Holmes wrote a "knowledge report" about her to Scientology officials. Last month, Holmes issued a brief apology to Remini, which has reportedly angered Cruise.

An unidentified Scientology source told In Touch Weekly magazine that Holmes' apology "makes it clear how regretful and remorseful Katie feels about her time with Tom and Scientology,” notes Radar Online.

“Katie is clearly getting back at Tom,” the source added. “This is the most aggressive she’s been since she blindsided him with divorce papers three years ago. She’s humiliating Tom again.”

“Tom is furious with Katie because he knows, and the church knows, that she has a nondisclosure agreement,” the source stated. “Katie agreed not to spill any secrets.”

However, Holmes has not told any secrets. Her apology stated, “I regret having upset Leah in the past and wish her only the best in the future.”

Remini has not pulled any punches about herself or her family in her new book, "Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology."

When Remini appeared on "The View" earlier this month, co-host Joy Behar read an excerpt from the actress' autobiography: “I am selfish and self-centered … My husband is a serial cheater and my mother was a slut.”

Remini told the daytime talk show that she decided to include her own flaws, before the Church of Scientology could air the dirty laundry.

“Well, I know the policy of the Church when someone speaks out publicly against them," Remini claimed. "I know how they deal with people like me. So they would take something out of context or in my confessions and [put] that out on the streets.”
