Pro Skier Tumbles 1,600 Feet Down Alaskan Mountainside, Survives (Video)

Ian McIntosh, a professional skier, recently tumbled 1,600 feet down the Neacola Mountains in Alaska (video below).

The incident happened during the filming of "Paradise Waits," a ski and snowboard film, notes the production company, Teton Gravity Research (TGR).

The Canadian was taking a turn when he fell into a five-foot trench that he did not see.

"From there, my slough took over and their was no way to stop, I pulled my airbag to help prevent against any possible trauma injuries as I tumbled to the bottom," McIntosh recalled.

McIntosh can be heard screaming as he cartwheels down the mountainside in about 40 seconds, reports The Telegraph.
