A pregnant Wendy's employee was involved in a wild brawl over some missing straws in Independence, Missouri, on June 26 (video below).

Police released surveillance footage on June 28 that shows Victoria Repine being pulled out of the drive-thru window by unidentified customers and then pulled back inside by a fellow employee. The 3-month pregnant woman then appears to climb back through the window, according to police, notes The Kansas City Star.

Heather Salcedo, Repine's mother, said that her daughter was attacked by two women and a man.

"One of the girls had gotten out of the vehicle and was standing at the window with her arms crossed, and said, 'You forgot to give us our straws,' and [Repine] said, 'Ma'am they`re in your sack,'" Salcedo told WADF.

"Before she could get those words completely out, the girl was pulling her out of the window and another girl was beating her up," Salcedo added.

According to Salcedo, her pregnant daughter fell back inside but was pulled outside the window by her alleged attackers, which appears to contradict the video.

"As soon as she fell on the ground, they started kicking her and punching her, and then there was a third person in the back, that was a male, and he came around and started punching and kicking her, as well," Salcedo recalled.

According to Salcedo, her daughter was injured, the unborn baby's heart is still beating, but there are big medical bills.

"That`s another reason why these people need to be caught, they need to be held accountable, you were upset over 50-cent straws, but you`re going to pay for these medical bills," Salcedo added.

Wendy's said in a statement:
