People In Los Angeles Say They Voted In The Iowa Caucus (Video)

| by Michael Allen

The late-night talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" sent its "Lie Witness News" team into the streets of Los Angeles and asked people if they had voted in the Iowa caucus on Feb. 1 (video below).

"When it comes to politics, you don't want to seem like you're uninformed, even if you are uninformed," Kimmel said in his intro to the segment, notes Rolling Stone.

People falsely claimed that they had voted in the caucus, and made up stories about free coffee and donuts that they got at polling places, reports Uproxx.com.

One man said he voted at an "elementary school" near his house, while another guy wearing a straw hat said he voted at the "Lutheran Church in Hollywood" where the lines to vote were "not bad."

He also described the people at the polling place as "very nice."

A third man, wearing a cap, said that he voted "at the school down the street."

A woman said that people who voted were getting free gifts cards, coffee, and sandwiches.
