A sample cake showing Queen Elsa from the Disney movie "Frozen" wasn't even close to the cake delivered to a disappointed customer and shared on Reddit.
On the left, an example cake from a baker shows a baked good in the likeness of Elsa. On the right, the delivered version cake appears to be an aged version of the "Frozen" character.
Elsa’s eyes appear on separate sides of her head with a huge space where her sizeable nose is placed. Her shoulders also appear to blend into her chest in one large, tan mass.
“The sad thing is, as horrific as it looks, someone put serious time into making that cake,” one Reddit commenter noted. “Every misshapen blob, every terrifying curve and flourish. There are hours and hours of terrible craftsmanship here.”
Another commenter wrote that everything from the neck up looked terrifying.
The Mirror quipped that Queen Elsa appeared to have aged a decade or two in this particular representation of her.
One news outlet reported that the cake was created by McGreevy Cakes in Akron, New York, though the report is not confirmed, reports The Huffington Post. McGreevy Cakes noted that while it does post “how-to” tutorials for cake making, it doesn’t produce cakes for the public.
