News Anchor Recites Kanye West's Song Lyrics In Serious Tone (Video)

| by Michael Allen

A San Francisco morning radio show, "Sarah & Vinnie," recently enlisted a TV news anchor to read the lyrics of Kanye West's new song "Awesome."

According to FTVLive.com, the radio show has regularly been reading West's lyrics in dramatic fashion, so they asked KPIX's Allen Martin to give his take (video below).

"I'm KPIX 5's Allen Martin and this is a new segment we call, ‘News Anchors Read Kanye West Lyrics,'" Martin said with a deadpan delivery, noted 103.3 AMP Radio.

The tune was written by West about his wife Kim Kardashian, reported ETOnline.com.

Martin stated:

You don't need me to ever write/ I read your last message at least a thousand times/ At least a thousand/ At least a thousand times/ All right, all right, all right/ Why would you ever listen to people trying to hate on you/ At least you know that's nothing new/ Stop everything you're doing now cuz baby you're awesome, so awesome...
