Michael Phelps Wears Speedo To Distract Oregon State Basketball Player (Video)

| by Michael Allen

Olympian swimmer Michael Phelps appeared from behind Arizona State University's Curtain of Distraction on Jan. 28 to help rattle Oregon State basketball player Stephen Thompson Jr. during his free throws (video below).

Phelps gyrated while wearing some of his Olympic medals and a yellow speedo. On each side of him were guys dressed as male strippers. It did the trick, as Thompson missed two free throws, noted Deadspin.com.

Swimming World reported in 2015 that Phelps followed Bob Bowman, the former head coach of the North Baltimore Aquatic Club, to Arizona State University (ASU) after Bowman was offered the head coaching position for men’s and women’s swimming at the school.

Phelps has won 22 Olympic medals while under Bowman's coaching and is in training at ASU for his next Olympics competition.
