A massage therapist at a spa in the Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska, got an amazing surprise after giving a man a routine massage last week.
Massage therapist Kaleigh Hansen said that a man from Colorado came in to the Northern Lights Spa at the airport for a $120 hour-long massage, KTUU reported. He and a friend were in Alaska on a hunting trip and were headed home to Colorado.
"He was sad because he said he only got a wolf and his friend got a bear and a moose, so he thought he deserved the massage more," Hansen told KTUU.
She gave the man his massage and as he checked out, she noticed something shocking on the receipt -- a $5,000 tip.

"He wrote it down and I grabbed the piece of paper and I saw it and I kind of just looked at him," she said. "I didn't know what to say. Even my co-workers quadruple checked and said 'are you lost on a couple zeros, did you put too many zeros there?"
It was no mistake, however. The man was just feeling generous and decided to make the massage therapist's day.
Hansen said that she will be saving most of the money from the tip, but she is looking forward to using some of it to pay it forward, the way that man did to her.
