TV reality star Kim Kardashian and actress Emily Ratajkowski posed for a topless selfie and gave the finger March 30.
Kardashian posted the picture -- which included black bars across their breasts -- on Instagram with the caption: "When we're like...we both have nothing to wear LOL."
So far the picture, taken in a bathroom mirror, has more than one million "likes" on the popular social media site.
Ratajkowski explained the picture in a series of tweets, notes the Daily Mail:
"However sexual our bodies may be, we need to hve the freedom as women to choose whn & how we express our sexuality."
"We are more than just our bodies, but that doesn't mean we have to be shamed for them or our sexuality. #liberated."
"Even if being sexualized by society's gaze is demeaning, there must be a space where women can still be sexual when they choose to be."
The Daily Mail notes that Kardashian posed in a nude selfie with black bars across her private parts on International Women's Day (March 7), and was heckled by Bette Midler and actress Chloe Moretz.
Kardashian responded by posting a black and white nude picture with her hands covering her breasts and groin area.
Ratajkowski showed her support for Kardashian at the time by posing topless, but obscuring her breasts with her arm.
Whether nude or clothed, Instagram has been financially good to Kardashian and her famous family, notes Page Six.
"In the old days, you’d buy ads in magazines and TV spots,” an unidentified marketing big wig told the gossip site. “Now, for $400,000, you get the Kardashians to post on Instagram.”
The clan reportedly cashes in by promoting various types of makeup, clothing and music.
According to Page Six, Kardashian makes her own deals with sponsors for up to $200,000, which is encouraged by her rapper husband Kanye West.
However, her famous siblings get their massive deals via their mom, Kris Jenner, who "is doing bundle-buys,” said the advertising expert.
According to a report in December 2015, Kardashian's younger sister, Kendall Jenner, was allegedly making between $125,000 and $300,000 for one posting across her social media profile portfolio, which was about 65 million followers at the time.
