The comedian Katt Williams has given his fans a reason to stop laughing. A video has surfaced on Facebook that shows Williams brawling with a high school student.

The young man opposite Williams in the video is Luke Wash, 17, according to the Daily Mail. It is not clear who started the fight, but it seems that Wash put Williams in a headlock after the comedian punched him in the face.

Wash says that he was playing a game of soccer when Williams insisted on joining in.

“We were playing a game of soccer and I just thought it was a soccer game, but stuff happens in sports,” said Wash to the Daily Mail.

“He took me over to a secluded area and asked me to hit him and I was like I'm not just going to hit you. You want to square up," he continued.

“And then he sucker-punched me so I did what I did,” Wash said.

Wash says that he has been wrestling for the past two years.

The Twitter world went wild after learning about the fight between Williams and Wash. Williams has more than 2.5 million followers and everybody seems to have an opinion.

“If you think you're having a bad day just remember that Katt Williams got beat up by a 7th grader lol,” said Twitter user Killah Keith.

“Spending my night training my five-year old nephew for the next Katt Williams fight,” mocked user Robin Thede.

The fight did not result in injuries, according to the Daily Mail. However, police have placed Katt Williams at the center of an investigation.

This is not the first time that Williams has been into trouble this year. The Los Angeles Times posted an article listing the seven times that he has had run-ins with the law during the first few months of 2016 alone.

Police are trying to determine whether or not he has violated a bail order associated with a previous offense by engaging in this fight.
