Former reality TV star and ex-political activist Josh Duggar may be trying to get back on TV, according to a report.

After an alleged pair of sex scandals involving child molesting and adultery by Josh surfaced in 2015, the Duggar family's reality TV show, "19 Kids And Counting," was pulled by TLC, US Weekly reported in August 2015.

The cable channel debuted a series in 2015 starring Josh's married sisters Jill and Jessa.

"Josh is determined to fix his image so he can make a comeback," an unidentified source told Us Weekly, according to The Hollywood Gossip.

The source continued to dish to US Weekly:

He'll stop at nothing to get back in front of the cameras again, especially because he's broke and has no prospect of work. Getting another reality show is the only way he can think of to make real money.

Josh is having [his wife] Anna reach out to people like Dr. Phil and Megyn Kelly so he can have his mea culpa moment.

If that goes well and people are sympathetic towards him, he is sure he can convince TLC to give him and Anna a spin-off - something to do with healing their marriage within the Christian faith.

Josh is working at his family's used car business in Tontitown, Arkansas, according to a May 18 report by PEOPLE.

An unidentified source told PEOPLE that Josh "looks happy," and "interacts very well with people." The source added that "it seems like people don't really care" about Josh's past.

Josh spent six months at a faith-based rehabilitation clinic in Rockford, Illinois, for sex addiction after the adultery reports surfaced.

"I definitely have forgiven Josh," Jessa, 23, told PEOPLE in March. "It is a process, though, that you have to work through in your heart. And trust is not quickly rebuilt. It is something that takes a while. We love him very much, though, and we are very hopeful for the future."

Jesse and Jill defended their brother when the molestation news (from his teen years) went public in 2015. The siblings didn't issue a defense when Josh admitted being unfaithful to Anna.
