Jimmy Kimmel mocked conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on Aug. 25 (video below) after Jones alleged on Aug. 23 (video below) that a pickle jar opened by Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton during her appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Aug. 22 was faked.

During his opening bit on Aug. 25, Kimmel explained the controversy:

As you may know, many of Hillary Clinton’s opponents have been questioning whether she’s healthy enough to be president. So when she was here, I challenged her to open a jar of pickles to see if she was strong enough to do it.

And she did it and all hell broke loose. Thousands of people, maybe even millions of people, are convinced that I somehow rigged the pickle jar. For real, I’m not kidding. One of those people is a guy named is Alex Jones, whom I happen to find very entertaining.

Kimmel then showed a clip of Jones, a Trump supporter, on his Aug. 23 broadcast of Infowars explaining the conspiracy based upon no popping sound when Clinton opened the jar and the way she turned the lid (in an obviously comedic way for Kimmel).

Kimmel called it a "canspiracy" and mocked Jones for calling the pickle jar a "pickle can."

"What the hell is going on here?" Kimmel joked. "There are people in the pickle industry who don’t devote this much time and energy talking about pickles. And really, it’s just a matter of time before the pickle jar gets subpoenaed."

Kimmel then showed a staged "security video" of his sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez opening the pickle jar and eating a pickle before Clinton opened it.

Kimmel then addressed Jones specifically on-air:

You just had to keep digging, didn’t you Alex? The plan was so simple, all Hillary had to do was open a jar of pickles and the White House would be all ours. Mine and hers. We had it all worked out.

This went all the way up to Vlasic. But you couldn't leave it alone could you? With your twisting and your popping and your poking your nose where it shouldn't be poking. You blew the lid right off our pickle can.

Moments later, Kimmel shot the jar of pickles.
