Car manufacturer Hyundai recently teamed up with NASA and the family of an astronaut to deliver a message to his home on the International Space Station (video below). The only problem was that the message had to be about the size of the family’s town.
Stephanie’s father is an astronaut and goes on lengthy trips to the International Space Station. The 12-year-old girl from Houston, Texas, wanted to let her father know that everyone at home was thinking of him and loved him.
Luckily, Hyundai was on board to make an artistic advertisement for its new Hyundai Genesis. The company teamed up with NASA to draw a massive message that Stephanie’s father could read from space.

According to Guinness World Records, the feat set a new world record for “largest tire track image.” It took 11 Hyundai Genesis cars to draw the message, which was about the size of Central Park in New York City.
The message was drawn in Delmar Dry Lake in Nevada. It was visible from about 180 miles away.
