A huge tornado hit parts of Kansas on Sept. 18. The twister was caught on video (below) near Louisburg by storm chaser Brandon Ivey.
Several homes were destroyed, campers with people inside were flung about a campground and minor injuries were reported in Miami County, notes KCTV.
Photographer Julie Klaasmeyer posted pictures of the campground damage on Instagram.
Cass Midway High School was damaged in Cass County where folks had gathered for a football game, but there no injuries reported.
People went inside the school to avoid the twister, which caused damage to the windows, the roof, bleachers and a press box.
According to The Kansas City Star, about a dozen homes were damaged in Cass County as well.
The American Red Cross serving Kansas Facebook page stated: "A team of #redcross disaster responders are en route to #Paola, Kansas to help residents who have been impacted by a #tornado. Early reports are three homes have been affected."
