Hong Kong Woman's Bizarre Breakup Tantrum Goes Viral (Video)

This is why you should reconsider breaking up with somebody via a text message.

After her boyfriend of several years split up with her over text, a woman threw an epic temper tantrum on the streets of Hong Kong, and the whole thing was caught on a new viral video (below).

The 24-year-old woman was reportedly walking in Tsim Sha Tsui district in Hong Kong when she checked her phone and saw the text from her partner that made her snap, according to the Rocket 24 News.

The woman must not have been expecting the news, as the meltdown that follows is truly a sight to behold.

This judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

In the video, the woman lies on the ground, kicking her legs and flailing on the ground. She beats her chest and screams at passersby.

The woman’s face is blurred, but she appears to be sporting a short gray tracksuit, white sneakers, and chin-length bright red hair.

A small, perplexed crowd gathers as the woman continues with her strange behavior.

At one point, a bystander tries to help her get up, but she rolls on the floor and refuses to cooperate.

Later, a couple of people are able to support her arms and help her walk to a grassy area that is a little better suited to sit down, but she ends up back on the floor again, flailing her limbs, screaming, and striking awkward poses.

Several more onlookers try to help, but she goes limp and rolls away when they try to hold her hand or lift her up.

Eventually, paramedics and police officers arrive. They handcuff her, strap her to a stretcher, and carry her away, after the spectacle reportedly played out for over an hour.

According to Rocket News 24, the words that the woman continuously yelled at bystanders was complete gibberish.

Many bemused onlookers caught the breakdown on video, and Chinese news broadcasts have been playing these clips frequently, complete with comedy soundtracks similar to what Americans might hear on “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”
