Great Trick Play Helps High School Football Team Win Texas State Championship (Video)

| by Michael Allen

Brock was trailing Cameron Yoe 26-14 during the third quarter of the 3A Division I Texas High School Championship game on Dec. 17 in Houston, but Brock got back in with a trick play (video below).

Brock's quarterback faked a pitch, ran to the right and then quietly slipped the ball to running back Cooper Warren, who ran around the left side for a touchdown, notes TotalProSports.com.

Brock came back to win the game 43-33.

“It’s something we work on twice a week from the time two-a-days start and it’s been good to us,” Brock's coach Chad Worrell told the Temple Daily Telegram.

“I thought we played a little tight in the first half," Worrell added. "I thought the bright lights kind of got to us early, played a little tight and like we were scared of losing. So at halftime I just told them to have fun.”
