Father Writes 'Taken' Note To Motivate Kids To Clean Up Kitchen (Photo)

| by Sean Kelly

A father wrote his children a note inspired by the movie "Taken" to help motivate them to clean up the kitchen.

The note was originally shared by Redditor Labuzan, who explained that his teenagers “refuse to put their dishes in the dishwasher,” leading him to write the clever note and put it above the sink, Metro reported.

“I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for a maid to clean up after you, I can tell you I don’t do that,” the note read, parodying a famous scene from the hit action movie.

“But what I do have are a particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long lifetime. Skills that make me an expert in home WiFi systems and Cellular data packages.”

At the end of the note, the father gives his children a choice — clean up the kitchen or face the consequences.

“If you clean up your own kitchen mess, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you,” he wrote. “But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you…AND I WILL DISCONNECT YOU.”
