An apparently intoxicated student at the University of Connecticut was arrested after he was denied his beloved bacon jalapeno mac and cheese. (video below)

Luke Gatti, 19, was asked to leave the campus’ cafeteria after a manager noticed he brought an open container into the cafeteria, despite his age. During their altercation, which was caught on camera, Gatti repeatedly and explicitly demanded bacon jalapeno mac and cheese. He invoked his American right to obtain the delicious dish and claimed the manager would “look like a f*****g tool,” when the footage would be posted online.

Gatti then pushed the unidentified manager and the chef intervened, putting Gatti into a headlock and pinning him to the floor until police arrive, Deadspin reported.

Gatti was charged with second-degree breach of peace and first-degree criminal trespass following the incident, according to The Hartford Courant. He is due in court on Oct. 13.

In addition, he may face disciplinary action at school.

"Generally speaking, any UConn student found to have violated the provisions of the Student Code may face penalties imposed by the Division of Student Affairs that range from probation to expulsion,” said UConn spokeswoman Stephanie Reitz
