Cop Chases Cow, Cow Chases Cop (Video)

| by Michael Allen

On March 24, a police officer in Temple, Texas, attempted to chase down a cow, but ended up getting chased by the animal (video below).

Gabriel Estrella recalled the incident to KCEN: "I wasn't sure of what I had seen, so I called dispatch and asked them if there was a cow loose. And they said, yes, which is great because then I'm not seeing things."

Estrella's dash cam filmed as the officer chased the cow through neighborhoods.

"So that's when I started thinking to myself, 'How can I get this cow somewhere,'" Estrella added.

Eventually, Estrella chased the cow into a fenced area, but after he got out of his car to close the fence's gate, the cow suddenly charged him and escaped.

And then once I started looking, the other gate was open. So that's why you see me inside the gate because I was going to walk across or run across and close that other gate, but before I could do that I heard something and that's when I turn around and there's a cow coming at me so I had to move out of the way.

The cow, which originally escaped from a veterinary clinic, made a successful getaway.

In more police news, Jeff Gaddie told WJAX that a homeowners association told his daughter to take down the Blue Lives Matter flag she was flying outside her home in St. Johns County, Florida.

This young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. A few moments later, he made her wildest dreams come true:

"If you drive by and see that flag, it kind of makes you feel a little bit better, that there’s a family that supports what I’m doing," Gaddie stated.

The homeowners association said the flag didn’t conform to its rules and regulations.

"She called to ask why," Gaddie recalled. "They told her they had received a complaint that it was considered racist, offensive and anti-Black Lives Matter."

The Blue Lives Matter movement sprung up after the Black Lives Matter movement began, and many view it as a pushback against Black Lives Matter, which has been called anti-police. Black Lives Matter has opposed police brutality against African-Americans.

First Coast Association Management, which enforces the homeowner association rules, told WJAX that only military-themed and American flags are allowed to fly in the neighborhood, but the news station noted other types of flags were flying.

Gaddie, who is a police officer, added: "We’ve got black officers, Asian officers, we’re got every race. I mean for them to say it’s racist, blue is not a race, it’s the furthest thing from it."
